The Times Tables Rock Stars platform will calculate the class average (the number of correct answers per pupil in the class who play during the competition hours, subject to a daily 60-minute limit (see below)). Winning classes in the school and in the competition as a whole will be the ones with the highest average.

All game modes (Gig, Garage, Studio, etc.) will count but only from games played between 7:30AM GMT and 7:30PM GMT on Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th. To support player well-being, there is a daily time limit of 60 minutes per player. In other words, each player can earn competition points tor up to 60 minutes between 7.30am and 7.30pm. Once the player goes beyond 60 minutes of play on a given day, they will still earn coins but will no longer earn points towards the competition.

In the spirit of the competition, please don't play on their behalf but by all means encourage and support them to the extent that it doesn't cause high-stress levels or impact on family plans. We suggest a limit of half an hour a day outside school hours - some will play more, some will play less.

At Maths Week England we want everyone to enjoy taking part in the events and activities we are sharing. We are mindful that we are working with young people and have tried to ensure that activities, videos, and events are appropriate for the age groups for which they have been indicated.

OK, so recognising that TTFS is directed at children from the age of 6 and that my daughter is age 9 and that digital interface “gamification” is based upon the neurocircuitry triggering Cocaine equivalent reactions Harvard University has qualified and I myself have proven the impacts of, along the Professor Huberman of Stanford.

One might have sensed a little compassion for the now addicted and “high” on numbers child that’s imprinting mathematical results like a Wall St financiers algorithm, proving out its capability to input data through “gameplay” thus can be digitally valued and “trafficked” into the financial system to be used in a futures market by Scott Harris at BlackRock (added into the thread), but alas……. for its digital “gold coins” the child captives are being thrown for their slavery to the system.

In the spirit of the competition, ............... who can spin their Basal Ganglia the quickest, damage through overstimulation leads to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s proven within my and Professor Huberman’s work

Times Tables Rock Stars was created by Bruno Reddy, a secondary maths teacher with a huge passion to ignite a love of maths in his pupils. Back in 2010, he noticed that many children were arriving at his school without the basics in maths and, worse, a downbeat attitude towards their own mathematical ability.
